Tamera is responsible for providing strategic leadership in the creation and implementation of comprehensive communication, media, stakeholder and public relations programs in support of ENMAX’s strategy and brand.
Prior to joining ENMAX in May 2013, Tamera served on the executive team at the Alberta Securities Commission as Director, Communications and Investor Education, where she oversaw strategic communication and industry education efforts to support effective securities regulation in Alberta. She also previously led the Corporate Communications team at TransAlta. Tamera began her career as a television reporter with RDTV in Red Deer, and later CTV in Calgary.
Tamera holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Calgary, a Broadcasting Arts Diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), and a Graduate Certificate in Professional Communications Management from Royal Roads University. Tamera formerly served as Chair of SAIT’s Journalism Advisory Committee and Board Governor of Education Matters, Calgary’s public education trust.
